The facts are, many fireplaces do not function correctly due to improper design. Most existing masonry fireplaces do not meet current building codes and some fireplaces are simply unusable. Does your fireplace function properly and meet building code? Does sitting in front of your fireplace create a pleasant experience? Or, do you find yourself asking one of these questions:

•    Why does the room get smoky?
•    Why does the house seem colder when to light a fire?
•    Why do the walls surrounding the fireplace get so hot?

These undesirable conditions are usually very obvious, but what about the potentially dangerous conditions that are not so obvious, such as:

•    Hidden combustibles behind the brick or under the floor
•    Insufficient thickness of hearth, fireplace and chimney walls
•    Inadequate or excessive draft

The Ahren-Fire Fireplace System can restore your masonry fireplace and correct most improper design problems. The complete system can also improve your fireplace so that it meets local building codes
The Ahren-Fire Fireplace System can make sitting in front of a roaring fire a pleasant experience again!

AHREN-FIRE
A COMPLETE FIREPLACE SYSTEM
The AHREN·FIRE fireplace must be looked at as a complete system, from the hearth to the top of the chimney and everything in between. Every part and component serves a purpose of safety and performance to assure a long lasting and pleasant fireplace experience.

AHREN-FIRE BRINGS FIREPLACES UP TO CODE
By installing the AHREN-Fire system you can bring your
existing masonry fireplace up to current safety codes, provided your fireplace has at least 4" of solid masonry in the floor and  walls. The AHREN·FIRE system is super insulated so combustible materials can actually touch the back masonry  surface. You can compare the code requirements by looking at the illustration below.

Ahren-Fire has earned the right to proudly display the UL mark.

Efficiency in installation as well as in operation were the goals in mind when the Ahren-Fire fireplace was designed.

•    Detailed engineering assures that every part fits properly, simplifying the installation process
•    Components are cast from special high temperature refractory material and feature an attractive, realistic brick pattern  (New Herringbone Pattern Available!!!)
•    Cast materials are strong enough to withstand those occasional "bumps" associated with loading the fireplace and are also able to endure the stress of high temperatures
•    Components are designed to radiate heat back into the house, allowing less heat to escape up the chimney
•    Increased radiation results in cleaner and more complete burning of fuel
•    Material density slowly releases the retained heat long after the fire is gone
•    Eight Ahren-Fire models available for an exact fit
•    Your fireplace can remain unchanged

The rounded back wall and corners of the AHREN·FIRE firebox radiate heat from side to side and from head to toe. This design produces a very even and comforting heat.
The smoke chamber is of equal importance. It essentially streamlines the Ii replace and eliminates the turbulence that causes a smoky Ii replace.
The AHREN·FIRE stainless steel smoke chamber or custom installed Chamber-Tech 2000 insulating mortar, in conjunction with the firebox
is so efficient that your fireplace can work on hall the flue area ol a conventional Ii replace. This means half the amount ol heated air leaving your home-SAVING YOU MONEY!

Ahren-Fire fireplaces require a full inspection to obtain the full scope of work necessary for installation. Ahren-Fire fireplaces can be installed in new builds as well. They can be painted to the desired color of the homeowner. We use a high temperature fireplace paint and can provide color swatches when choosing.
